About the song...
This song was born during an elemental journey when my inner guidance led me to the waters of the White Spring in Glastonbury. As I immersed myself in the spring and sang with the water, the melody flowed through me as if it was being gifted rather than created.
That moment marked the beginning of a deeper relationship with water. Since then, the waters have become one of my greatest teachers, showing me how to surrender, trust the flow of life, and listen more deeply to the wisdom that is always present.
This song is an offering of gratitude for that journey and an invitation to reconnect with the healing, presence, and quiet guidance that water can awaken within us. It is also inspired by the pioneering research of Masaru Emoto and Veda Austin, whose work explores the relationship between water, memory, consciousness, and frequency.
May this song be a reminder that the waters flow not only around us, but within us.

The Artwork for this song was created with Water from the White Spring in Glastonbury. Once the recording of the song was complete Demelza went and bathed in the White Spring and sang the song to the water. She then collected this water and then gave this to Jen Dodson to create the artwork. It wasn’t planned but it turns out the day Demelza collected this water was on a full moon.

"My process begins with water Demelza gathered from the White Spring in Glastonbury - a sacred site whose waters were then lovingly placed upon an altar, blessed and sung to by her, before I ever touch the camera.
From there, the process is intuitive rather than planned. I set a single intention: to let something come through that will be helpful to whoever receives it, in whatever form it wants to take. I try not to question or second-guess the nudges that follow . . . it’s a quiet surrender to what wants to happen.
Using photography, I capture sunlight passing through frozen water crystals over colour. Sitting with each image, I’m drawn toward certain patterns within it. Through mirroring, these patterns open into new symmetries - revealing information that wasn’t visible in the original frame. I believe this kind of revealing can speak to the subconscious, prompting a felt sense of connection that goes beyond what the eye first sees.
The final piece, shaped through mirror imaging and colour, is less something I make than something I co-create... weaving together the water, the light, and the energy forming into matter... a merging of consciousness itself, rendering the unseen visible."

Wow… I can’t actually believe a week has gone by already! 💧.
Sing to the Waters was released last Friday 21st Aug 2026. Is this real? Am I dreaming?.
It has been such a deep journey creating this song, with many teachings from the water along the way.
From the moment the melody first came through a year ago, whilst bathing in the White Spring in Glastonbury, to birthing the song (and music video) into the world last Friday. It has taken a whole year.
I have soooo much more respect for recording artists now! 🤍.
We marked the release with a beautiful water ceremony and blessing in Glastonbury.
We began with a water meditation, followed by everyone sharing their waters, offerings and prayers for the water. We then returned to the White Spring together to Sing to the Waters in the very place where the song was first born. 💧.
