Water Holds Memory
Water has fascinated humanity for centuries, not only as the source of life, but as a symbol of flow, healing, memory and transformation. Modern researchers and pioneers have explored the possibility that water responds to intention, vibration and consciousness, inviting us to deepen our relationship with this extraordinary element. While many of these ideas remain outside mainstream scientific consensus, they continue to inspire curiosity, reflection and a more mindful connection with the water we drink and the natural world around us.

Dr Masaru Emoto
The Power of Intention
Japanese author Dr. Masaru Emoto brought worldwide attention to the idea that water may respond to human thoughts, words, music and emotions. His photographs of frozen water crystals appeared to show beautiful, symmetrical formations after exposure to positive words or music, while water exposed to negative expressions formed less ordered crystals.
His work sparked a global conversation about the potential influence of intention and vibration on the natural world, inspiring millions to approach water (and life itself) with greater mindfulness and gratitude.
For many people, both Emoto's and Austin's work serve as observational natural quantum scientific proof and an invitation to explore the profound connection between consciousness, nature and the simple act of honouring the water that sustains all life.
Exploring Water's Living Intelligence
Veda Austin
New Zealand researcher and author Veda Austin has dedicated her work to exploring the relationship between water, consciousness and the natural world. Through thousands of freezing experiments, she documents intricate ice crystal patterns that she believes reveal how water responds to images, words, intentions and its environment.
Austin describes water as a "living intelligence" that reflects the world around it, offering a fresh perspective on our relationship with nature and ourselves. Her work encourages observation, curiosity and wonder, inviting us to consider water as more than a simple substance but it becomes a mirror for connection, awareness and possibility. Her research has inspired many people within holistic health and conscious living communities to engage with water in more intentional ways.

Jen Dodson
Water Artist and Channeler UK
Jen Dodson is a nomadic artist - originally from Brighton, now going wherever the wind blows and the land calls her. Her work spans photography, written word, nature art and multimedia, unfolding through ritual, ceremony and intuitive play. It is a personal journey of communing with the elements that has come to guide her way of seeing, expressing and living.
Drawn to healing and the deeper wisdom held in nature, Jen listens for the unseen - the stories and patterns beneath the surface that open a fuller understanding of life and our place within it. Water, in particular, remains a constant thread: a teacher, a mirror, a presence to be honoured with reverence and gratitude rather than simply depicted.
Her curiosity moves alongside a wider awakening, inspired by the works of Dr Emoto and Veda Austen. It is a growing recognition that water listens, responds and remembers - a conversation Jen carries forward through her own practice.
For this prayer-song, Jen co-created with the waters of Glastonbury’s White Spring, bringing forth an abstract artwork to accompany it. The piece honours water as liquid crystal, divine light and a holder of profound keys - an offering back to the sacred element it portrays, and to all it reaches.
Jen chooses not to interpret her pieces. She invites you to feel into the artwork and let your own message arise - a practice in trusting that how we perceive is central to our own unfolding.
